memories, picture, videos of 5S2 pls

hey guys, long time since i blog. 5s2, i guess many of did enjoyed the class trip though some unpleasant incidents did occur. anyway let us share our picture among ourself so that we can further spread this joy. k?

well, u see, if i ask u to send me the picture thru email, its not quite possible. if u tried, u will understand, its possible sending few MBs thru the mail but few GB's and thousands of unit of pictures would almost be impossible.

for those who thinks that this way is more complex, u can zip it up and email the files to me

for those who ady posted any files online, pls email me the link. (example: IZ posted the link at http://izglory.spaces.live.com/default.aspx?sa=102434466 )

wat i would like ur to do is:
1) split ur pictures into different folders, probably like 1st day, 2nd day and 3rd day. (pls make sure each folder is less than 1GB in size)
2) download pando software at http://www.pando.com/dl/download/PandoSetup.exe
3) use some common sense and use that software to send it to me. u should know my email address.
4) viola, finish

(if ur common sense cant work, pm me, i'll show u how to use the software)

ok, thats all ur need to do. i urge all those who took picture, whether thru ur mobile phone camera, compact camera, SLR or spy camera, juz send it to me. i will compile all the pictures, filter it, and then find a way to send ur a copy.

also, i would like pictures or video of the class (not only this trip). i mean in 4s2 and 5s2. pictures in class, in school and any pictures related to us. juz send it to me. thanks

let us treasure and cherish all the happy moments we spend together, forget all the sour memories. high school is only once, but friendship should last a life time.

let others know bout this too

God bless us!

Can I still feel proud?

Last time I used to feel proud being born in Malaysia. Now, I know that I do not deserve equal rights and this country belongs to the "special citizens (a.k.a. racists)". Can I still feel the same?

Why is Ahmad only suspended for 3 years, I think he would be happy. You know why? Imagine yourself not working for 3 years, sleeping at home but still getting your pay. Can't he get charge and bought to court under seditious act instead of giving him 3 years of honeymoon? You get what i meant?

I better not be talking too much here, in case ISA come knocking on my door.

politics in school?

secondary school life' tiring
students playing politics
leaders fooling around
classmates cheating
friends untrustworthy
hurting each others
what a rough game!

after today's incident, i still cant believe a once respected leader cheated the whole class. after confessing his lie, the whole class seems to get discouraged. "no man could be trusted", this phase keeps on ringing in my mind, why did i respect him? does he deserve respect from anyone? the whole class was STUN when he mentioned that he was lying. what a stunning confession!

"i, xxx hereby i swear, that whatever i say here is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" perhaps next time whoever who wants to talk in front of the class should swear that he will tell the truth similarly to the scenario in the court during trial.

today i learned a very good lesson that i regretted not learning it earlier, in fact this was not the first time i was cheated. what a pity. not only does one get hurt, being cheated and deceived could lead to depression too. whats your opinion? those who were part of this scenario, if u dare to tell me that you do not feel cheated, WAKE UP! condemn yourself for not having any dignity. don't you love not to be cheated or deceived?

did we ever come to school to learn how to play politics? or did our parents send us to school hoping that we can be a politician when we grow older? i rather be a student that to be a politician. Those who are involved, regret now! fooling around is not fun! what is the point of lying to your classmates with the intention of testing us when you actually hurt and stir the emotions of many?

why not we just cancel our plans? what is the point of having those pages but leaving behind so much grief, pain, sorrow, suffering, hurt, dissatisfaction and broken hearts? those pages are meant to leave behind momentous memories which will help us in cherishing valuable memories, cherishing friendship and bonds, and also appreciating each other...i urge everyone, just forget about all our initial plans, for plans in childish, evil and arrogant leaders' hands will not work but instead hurt.

untitled

Long time since i did post, too busy with too many things. Mid-year exam in the mist, should be studying, not writing here. FORM 5 it a life with lots and lots and lots of pressure.. nothing much to post so again gonna post something that is against windows. btw, windows xp on my comp started crashing again, i will reformat my comp during the school holiday and vow not to ever use windows on my personal comp.

some quotes:
1) Windows is an inviting petri dish for viruses and worms, while Linux is a hostile environment for such nasties।

2) To mess up a Linux box, you need to work at it; to mess up your Windows box, you just need to work on it.

here is a video: look at how vista's aero lose out to beryl / compiz fusion in ubuntu
(some people thought that windows vista do have nice graphics, i would not say it is not true but compiz fusion brings nicer design and graphic into linux, much better than linux + they are open source)

where is the "WOW" claimed by Microsoft?

Please go to http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,140583-page,5-c,techindustrytrends/article.html and see what pcworld.com thinks bout the "WOW!" that Microsoft promised.
I fully agree with pcworld.com that Microsoft did not do it's best after spending more than 6 years developing the so called "WOW" operating system. It is not that Microsoft Vista sucks, but it's just that it does not meet many end user's expectation.

Quote:
We have no doubt Vista will come to dominate the PC landscape, if only because it will become increasingly hard to buy a new machine that doesn't have it pre-installed. And that's disappointing in its own right.

Many maybe asking, why is Microsoft making big bucks and spoiling the market of OS's? The reasons is simply because many big vendors of computer are packaging this lousy operating system into their machine. User who buys this machine do not try other operating system instead they continue to use this pre-installed Vista.

If you are aware, recently Microsoft has been slap with many fines and getting sued for being anti-competitive. It seems that Microsoft is going to be in the danger zone with other operating system like the open-source Linux is rising.

After getting to use the full version of Windows Vista Business edition with Aero on. I find that windows vista is not as good as what i expected earlier. Thought user account control could be switched off but it still comes by default. I find that this such features that prompt you every time user wants to change setting is ridiculous, unnecessary and also very irritating. Why would a user who pay hundreds for this operating system wants such a crap that ask permission for every setting that you wants to change?

Well, this year as a Head of Activity of Computer Club of SMKTC, i hope to organise some sessions on teaching students Linux(and open source) and exposed them to the world of operating systems.
